The solution is simple. All it takes is a little planning. Decipher what your budget is for groceries and plan what to buy in advance. Make a grocery list and stick to it! Many people end up adding junk food to their shopping cart as an impulse buy. Also different stores offer different prices. Don't be afraid to shop around. Think about how you joined Onyx. Another common barrier for people is time. It is a common misconception that you need to spend lots of time in the kitchen to prepare a healthy meal. The last barrier I'm going to talk about is a big one, and that's adjusting your current habits. Change can be difficult for anyone. Make small measurable goals. Change one bad habit at a time. Maybe you're someone who doesn't drink enough water. Make that your goal of the week, and make the change. Once you've accomplished one goal, make another and keep moving forward. You'll learn that over time accomplishing those small achievable goals will slowly start to change your entire lifestyle. Isn't that what we've all after?
